In my network marketing career, after recruiting a lot of people, and having some drop out, and also being in the field and talking with other top MLM leaders, I have come to the conclusion that one of the reasons people fail inside of Network Marketing is Misplaced Expectations.
In some cases, its not the uplines fault, but the fault of the new rep to actually adjust their mindset and have realistic expectations of what it takes to achieve Network Marketing success.
And a lot of those false expectations are found around MLM prospecting and recruiting.
So if you have a team or are still yet to achieve Network Marketing success, in todays post, I am going to be sharing 3 expectations and mindset adjustments you need to make for Network Marketing success.
3 Major Expectations For Network Marketing Success.
By major expectations I mean mindset shifts and adjustments. Especially around recruiting people. Lets take some of them.
1. When Inviting People To See Your Presentation, Not Everyone is going to show up-
This might seem obvious, but I have seen this destroy many peoples chances of experiencing Network marketing success. They have tales of woe, of how they invited 20 people and only 1 showed up, or how they invited 10 people and no one showed up. You need to understand and accept that not everyone is going to show up for your business opportunity meeting, or watch your video, even when they said they would.
Expecting that your invitation will convert 100% of the time is a recipe for heartbreak. Set the right expectation for yourself. It is a numbers game and some people who say “yes” to your invitation are just opportunists who want to just complain about where they are and not chance a damn thing!
