When I prospect people or I talk to some network marketers, I noticed this major bias against MLM programs that have a monthly autoship program.
I hear things like:
“I don’t want to buy products monthly” and other such comments. So in todays Network Marketing Tips, I am going to be talking about if autoships are a bad thing or not.
So if you’re a network marketer or looking to join a company, then you might want to take note of this, and do not forget to share with anyone out there who might get value!
The Concept Of Autoships
The dream of Network Marketing is residual income. Residual income is money that comes to you over and over through repeat business, whether you are eating, sleeping or drinking.
In a legitimate Network Marketing company, and this is one of my major Network Marketing Tips for judging a good program, you are paid for sales volume or monthly re-order of your companys product or service. IF no body re-orders products , no sales volume is generated, and no body gets paid!
According to regulators, any company that pays you on just recruiting is a pyramid scheme. Check out an article I did on Legit MLM’s vs Pyramid Schemes.
Autoship is “automatic-shipment” of your goods and services to you. Most companies bill your credit/debit card automatically every month, and ship your products to your doorstep at wholesale prices. In Nigeria, where I am from, your bank can have a standing order to debit your account and you go pick up yourself, OR you voluntarily pay for your product yourself monthly and go pick up at the office.
If your entire team is on monthly autoships, then a generous sales volume is generated, and hence, a hefty commission check by default.
Autoships are where the company makes its sales and where your commissions come from.
