A legend in Network Marketing once said something I found interesting.
He said, “If you have not filled your calendar with appointments then it’s not likely that you would earn any real income in Network Marketing.”
Many people struggle with MLM prospecting and invitation because they cannot set proper appointments with their prospects.
Here are more reasons you NEED to master this skill.
- It prevents you from being seen as bugging, chasing or begging people
- It positions you as an expert and a professional
- Setting MLM appointments effectively gives you the right and a reason to follow up with the prospect.
Now, here are MLM prospecting tips to get you started.
1. First, free up the prospect’s calendar.
Example” “Hello, what are you doing Thursday?”
Prospect replies “I’m free, what’s happening?”
….then you go into the invitation and then setting the appointment to see a presentation either online or offline.
2. Allow the prospect to set the time.
Example: “When would you have seen the video?”
Prospect says 8 PM, Thursday, and you then say
“All right, I’d call you 8 PM Thursday, and we would go over questions you might have “.
You can see that this can make an enormous impact on your business.
Your prospect will not have any excuses not to take your calls because THEY set the appointment!
